Sarah's Sweet 16

Okay, so, Sarah's birthday was a couple of months ago but we got to celebrate her birthday with her this weekend. We went to the Davis' time share by the beach and stayed there for a couple of days. It was soooo much fun. We played games, swam in the pool, went to a concert, and got to just hang out. Here are some pics! :) Happy Birthday, Sarah!

Kara's Visit

Some of you know our friend Kara, but for those of you who don't, she's a good friend of ours that used to live in our old neighborhood. She and her family moved to Washington state five years ago and she and I have kept in touch. She came and visited us for a week a couple of weeks ago so I just thought I'd put up some pictures. Thanks, Kepe, for putting up with us for a week! LOL

Tori's Most Favorite Things

Hello, all, today on my blog I'm featuring Tori Slingo and her most favorite things. So here they are in Tori's own words...

Being with friends and my family.

Holding babies (especially when they fall asleep on you - that's such a wonderful feeling!)

Listening to and playing music (You know, screeching on the violin, strumming 6 chords on the guitar, and playing piano...)

Singing! It's always fun to play worship songs on the piano and sing along, sing really bad opera while doing the dishes, go for a jog and then come back and hop in the shower and sing. And the best one: Drive around, singing at the top of your lungs, because no one is there to tell you that you're making them go deaf!

Playing soccer (even though I can be a total wimp sometimes...)

Laughing so hard my stomach hurts and I fall on the floor and can't get up

Having a really good devotional time and drawing near to God and feeling refreshed and encouraged by Him

Watching some of my favorite movies, such as Emma, Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility, and Facing the Giants (thought I'd throw that last one in amidst the chick flicks; but PLEASE know that I'm NOT a fan of football - I just like the movie and its message :-)

Photography (especially taking still-life pictures in macro focus)

Food! Especially anything with cheese or sugar! I know, you're all marveling at what a healthy diet I have... :-)

Organizing my closet - seriously!

Just being my crazy, weirdo self around little kids who don't care and join in on the fun

Wandering around craft and home decor stores and imagining all the fun stuff I could do with the things I see

Seeing words spelled "the British way" (Like "colour," "favourite," etc.)

Clear sunny days with blue skies and big white puffy clouds - those kinds of days make me want to fly! (Yes, I'm weird.)

Thanks, Tori, for sharing your most favorite things! :)

My Most Favorite Things

Thanks, Kaylee, for giving me this great idea. Every week I'm going to try to feature someone's most favorite things, starting with me. :) Here are some of my most favorite things...
Converse. They're amazing. In or out, I'll always wear them.

Mario is the coolest goomba-smashing, bowser-defeating, overall-wearing plumber around. What can I say? He's crazy cool.

Epiphone Hollow Body guitars are the most amazing electric guitars on the face of the planet. Come on, you have to admit they're great.

Okay, this is a picture of the inside of my closet. LOL jk! I love Mountain Dew. :)

Okay, you might think that I don't like playing sports very much but that's not necessarily true. I don't like playing sports with balls but I like a lot of different sports like swimming, biking, skateboarding (biking being my favorite.) I also like watching sports on t.v. too, so yeah...

I don't know what I'd do without my ipod, I've superglued and taped it a million times with hopes that it will never die. I've had it for a year and even though it makes strange noises and is held together with glue, I think it'll be around for awhile. ;P
The wii is one of the best inventions ever, I mean lightbulbs and telephones are cool but the wii is cooler.

Okay, one of my most favorite things is definitely music. I love writing it, singing it, playing, listening to it--everything!

The most amazing website ever!!! You should totally check it out.

My most favorite book in the whole world is The Magician's Nephew by C.S. Lewis, I read it when I was eight and I loved it ever since.

The platypus. Nobody likes a platypus. Except me. I think they're cool. ;)

Switchfoot is my favorite band, they're music is amazing and they're really nice.

My very most favorite thing is my Savior.

So that's me, soon I'll have some more posts of other people's most favorite things!
